When life throws a challenge.

Life can throw harsh situations in your path, like burning arrows through your heart that you know will leave their mark. I am struck by the mixture of pain, regret and even shame that your life is not allowed to be like others or that you are being denied something that feels like a normal entitlement. All I have to cling to at the moment is that there is much that I don’t and will never understand, that people seem to play parts evil as well as good and that maybe this is preparing me for a role I know nothing of yet. And it fills me with a compassion for all that suffer in the world.; mothers, children all.
